Thank you to all who joined us for our April 18, 2026 fundraising event, “A Night at Rutherfurd Hall.” We are truly grateful to all who attended and helped to make the event a success with your tax-deductible contributions. Special thanks go to the staff of Rutherfurd Hall and the Rutherfurd Hall Foundation, and Foundation President Rosemary Tuohy, for all the accommodations and assistance with the event; to Mr. Tom Schiano and Mama’s Café Baci and Catering, Hackettstown, for partnering with us on the delicious food; Hop & Vine Liquors of Belvidere for partnering with us on the beverages; and the band Moetta for donating their time to serve as the evening’s entertainment. “Everything changes,” they say, “except God and Belvidere.” Pretty as a picture postcard, the tiny town of Belvidere, New Jersey (population about 2,681 according to the 2010 census), lies along the east bank of the Delaware River close to the Delaware Water Gap. “It is a serene and peaceful blend of finely maintained Colonial and Victorian mansions,” according to a Belvidere Chamber of Commerce Victorian Days flyer dated September 10, 1988.
